We all know that excellent communication skills are the key to successful management. Yet we often fail to recognize the significance of the body as the most basic and yet powerful conveyor of information. Especially in today’s increasingly cross-cultural professional environment, it is essential to know how to read the ‘body map’ of others, and to ensure that your own body language is in sync with the message you want to get across. Martha Graham, the legendary dancer and choreographer, perhaps summed it up best: “movement never lies.” Yet knowing how to interpret body language requires a keen awareness of the context in which the body ‘speaks.’ This seminar will enhance your communication skills by increasing your command of bodily knowledge and non-verbal communication.
