Shelly De Vito, an American, bilingual in English and French. Shelly De Vito is a stage director, having begun her carreer on stage as a ballet dancer before pursuing choreography and directing.  She has studied with Fan Yisong of the Bejing Opera, Augosto Boal and at TSS and the Martha Graham School in New York.

In France she made her stage début at the Théâtre de Rond-Point and her French directing début with Les Muses Orphelines. As playwright, her first French play, 6x5, has performed in Paris and New York. Her scenario, La Boucle, which she co-directed, has been selected for several film festivals throughout France. She is currently working on a multilingual show called House Calls which shall be touring Europe in 2008. Shelly De Vito teaches acting and coaches performers. She is also the founder and artistic director of the Paris-based theatre company La Spirale d'Or.
